The annual Fourth of July celebration is a can't-miss tradition in Telluride. Year after year guests spend the holiday in this box canyon to relax and reconnect surrounded by the stunning scenery, beautiful weather, and of course, an all-American Independence Day parade. This year, Mountain Village has added a number of new activities, concerts and events to the week-long line-up.
The annual Telluride festivities are all set to begin with the Telluride Rundola at 8 a.m. for those brave enough to attempt the climb from the gondola station in Telluride all the way to the mid-station at San Sophia Station.
The day continues with the famous parade through the Town of Telluride on Main Street beginning at 11 a.m. Following the parade, Telluride Town Park will host the fire man's BBQ lunch followed by classic games including pie eating contests, three legged race, and balloon toss.
New this year, Mountain Village is hosting a two-day Red, White & Blues Celebration. July 3rd & 4th will be filled with carnival games, inflatables, ice cream social, face painting, balloon art, magic show, live music and Electrolier Light Show. Don't miss the family fun all happening in Heritage Plaza, Mountain Village.
