Dalen Stevens, a guide at the Adventure Center, is one of the reasons this snowshoeing experience is so special. Having first visited Telluride in the 1950’s, Stevens’ family went on jeep tours to Telluride from where his hometown of Bayfield, CO. After he and his wife bought property on Hastings Mesa, just outside of Telluride, he’s been hooked on the San Juan Mountains. His knowledge and insight is what makes these adventures a great option for those looking for a different way to enjoy the outdoors in the winter. Each tour is catered to the attendees so you’ll never take the same tour twice, making each snowshoe adventure unique and exciting.
This trip will bring forth your sense of exploration and adventure while you meander from the yurts on Sunshine Express (Lift 10) and find yourself trekking through the forest on a quiet outing with your family and friends.
