Denver! It's Your Time!

New Flights to Telluride/Montrose as low as $44

Telluride as a ski resort and stunning mountain town provides excitement and adventure year-round for all types of people with varied interests. Telluride’s the hidden gem of Colorado, but Allegiant Air is one of the groups working to make it easier for Coloradans to explore the area. The airline company will begin serving from Denver International Airport (DEN) to the Telluride /Montrose (MTJ) airport this coming winter, just in time for the La Nina season.

While the drive is beautiful and always a fun adventure, it’s sometimes wonderful to fly so you can get here faster. Now, with the help of Allegiant and the Colorado Flights Alliance, the western slope will be more accessible at a lower cost as well. One-way fares with Allegiant on the route will run as low as $44.

“The new Denver to Telluride/Montrose service on Allegiant is a game-changer, providing a low cost option for Western Slope residents to access Denver and Colorado’s main airline hub and, with the new commuter rail to Denver, a fast, easy option for Denver skiers to get to the legendary slopes of Telluride,” said Colorado Flights’ COO Matt Skinner.

To make this announcement even better, Allegiant launched a “Christmas in July” sweepstakes to award 12 lucky winners seats on the inaugural flight between Telluride/Montrose and Denver for themselves and a guest. You can visit to enter for a chance to win! What a way to launch your winter season.
