Telluride Colorado

Telluride is rooted in western mining history with millions of dollars’ worth of gold and silver extracted from the surrounding peaks, Telluride has evolved from a rugged, strike it rich boomtown to a modern-day, world-class destination resort. The resort started in 1972 and founders designed and built a ski area to fit the unique history of the town and highlighting the natural beauty of the area. In the mid-1990s, the Town of Mountain Village was formed and linked to the Historic town via a free gondola to make this a pedestrian-oriented community. Wine Director, Andrew Shaffner oversees staff training, and manages the wine programs across all outlets, continuing our commitment to superb culinary offerings.

We are a destination resort with the closest stoplight miles and miles away. The original founders and current owners understand that the Telluride experience has to be exceptional in order to meet the needs of our passionate guests. We have focused on the highest quality services and amenities to compliment Telluride’s natural assets. Telluride Ski Resort has been rated as the number 1 ski resort in North America by Conde Nast three years in a row because of the awe-inspiring natural setting of Telluride, some of the most impressive ski terrain on the continent, combined with the most passionate and hardworking people in the business.

We live and work in a place of extreme beauty and enjoy a lifestyle most only dream of. We understand that we are stewards of an amazing place and we take this responsibility very seriously. We are seeking like-minded individuals who share our passion for this resort, these mountains and for providing a great experience for our team and our guests. We value independent and entrepreneurial spirited people and we pride ourselves on shedding the corporate-driven business models seen in most companies today. We believe in hiring the best people, listening to our team and empowering them to make decisions that align with our values. If this sounds like the environment and the lifestyle for you we would love to develop a relationship with you and explore the possibility of you becoming a team member.

We are looking to connect and establish a relationship with you for both immediate and long term opportunities here at the resort. Please fill out the online application so we can start on that dream.

Telluride, Colorado is our home. It's an incredible town where everything is within walking distance and nearly the entire town is ski-in/ski-out. The San Juan mountains where we call home are big and jagged, offering weekends packed with skiing, hiking, biking, rafting, fly fishing, or any other activity. Many locals start as tourists amazed by this place. And years later, in their dream job surrounded by good friends, they still talk about how moving here was the best decision of their life.
