Telluride Golf Club Opens for the 2014 Season with New Features and Services
Facilities, carts and rentals enjoy upgrades this summer
TELLURIDE, Colorado (May 26, 2014) – Drastic elevation changes, inspiring views and challenging shot selections are the hallmarks of mountain golf. Few courses exemplify mountain golf better than the Telluride Golf Club. Friday, May 23 marked the opening day of Telluride’s only golf course and it was the debut of several upgrades and services at the club.
Telluride Golf Club is committed to great golf coaching and teaching. To support the course’s teaching, two new putting and chipping greens have been constructed. The new greens are just steps from the club house and create a significant area for beginners and experts alike to hone their short game.
New technology has also been added to improve the guest experience. Touch screen GPS systems have been add to all carts. The GPS systems measure distances to bunkers, pins and nearby golfers. Additionally, the GPS systems offer wireless communications that allow golfers to communicate to the pro shop and even email score cards to themselves after completed rounds.
A refreshed club rental fleet is also a significant improvement for the 2014 summer. This year’s Callaway, Mizuno and Taylor Made clubs are featured in the new, technologically advanced rental fleet.
The Telluride Golf Club will be open through October 5, 2014. Complete information on the club can be found at tellurideskiresort.com or by calling 970-728-2606.
