TELLURIDE, Colorado (March 22, 2016) – On Saturday, April 2, 2016, the Town of Mountain Village Owners Association will present a documentary detailing the past, present and future of Mountain Village. Immediately following the documentary will be a panel discussion and public Q&A with Ron Allred, William Mahoney Sr., Junior Mahoney, Johnnie Stevens and Bill Jensen.
“As a relatively young community, Mountain Village is in a state of transition, and this documentary showcases what has gone building such an integral part of the larger Telluride community,” said Robert Stenhammer, executive vice president for Telluride Ski Resort. “This is an opportunity to understand more of the history behind Mountain Village, celebrate its’ pioneers and discuss our future.”
The event, taking place at the Telluride Conference Center will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a social hour. At 5:45, the film will premiere and run approximately 30 minutes, and immediately following, the panel discussion, moderated by Robert Stenhammer, will begin. Entry is free of charge and there will be a cash bar.
“As we look towards the future of Mountain Village and what we want it to become, it’s integral that we remember the vision that went into planning this community and the people that played a major part in what it has become,” said Anton Benitez, executive director of the Town of Mountain Village Owners Association. “We’re honored to have some of those visionaries share their thoughts on this community.”
