There’s really no better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than by participating in Telluride’s Opening Day festivities in the morning, and then gathering with your family and friends for a proper Thanksgiving Dinner. If you’re visiting us this Thanksgiving, there are a few restaurants where you can indulge in turkey and all of your favorite sides.
Palmyra at the Peaks is hosting a four course traditional dinner, including whole roasted honey-sage natural Colorado turkey and sides such as roasted parsnips and carrots with maple syrup, pecans and chervil, sausage and giblet stuffing with celery and apples and of course, mashed potatoes. TO make your reservations at Palmyra call (970) 728-2525.
Allred’s , Telluride’s flagship restaurant located at the top of the Gondola, also hosts an annual Thanksgiving Dinner with several à la carte options, as well as a prix fixe menu for a full turkey dinner. Seatings are very limited, so call (970) 728-7474 for reservations.
If turkey isn’t your thing, you can also enjoy dinner at Tomboy Tavern in Mountain Village or head to town for a variety of other dining options. Happy Thanksgiving!
