5 Things to Do on Your Telluride Spring Break

Whether With Family or Friends

Spring Break is here, and with warmer temps and longer days, there’s no time to spare as the season soon draws to a close. We all know there’s only one cure for a (Spring) Fever, and it’s definitely more cowbell…and skiing, of course.

Snowshoe or Fat Bike

With so many options just steps from your door, the Telluride Adventure Center knows just how to help you choose the perfect adventure for you and your family. From fat biking to snowshoeing, Telluride’s Adventure Center is your one-stop shop for a bevy of activities that will keep you moving when you’re not on your skis.

Ski (obviously)

From springtime slush to sunny afternoons at Gorrono’s, spring skiing is at an all-time high. And while cruising the slopes as a family is a cherished pastime, you might want to consider dropping the kids off at ski school for a day or two to ensure you’ve got time to really explore what the mountain has to offer.

Visit the Spa

No ski vacation is complete without a little pampering at the spa , that’s for sure. Whether you’re after a relaxing couples’ massage or a day with the kids at one of the resort’s outdoor pools , you’ll be happy you factored in some down time.

Après Ski for Kids

From 3:30-5pm, Kids Happy Hour not only gives the kids a chance to warm up inside after a day on the slopes, but it gives parents a chance to get in a few more laps and drink a couple beers. Parents can arrange to have their kids picked up directly from ski school, knowing the little ones are safe and sound.

Hit the Town

With a wide array of stores that please a number of tastes and styles, Telluride’s shopping district has something for everyone. From locally-owned spots to upscale, chic boutiques, Telluride’s streets are lined with quaint storefronts waiting to greet you with a warm welcome.
