Sheridan Opera House, Telluride, Colo.
The Sheridan Arts Foundation and Project Clean Water are proud to announce that acclaimed singer-songwriter, actress, poet and philanthropist Jewel will return to the historic Sheridan Opera House on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 8 p.m. Tickets for this special night of music go on sale at noon on Tuesday, July 22 at 12 p.m. (noon).
This show is a fundraiser for both Project Clean Water, Jewel's own charity, and the Sheridan Arts Foundation. Tickets for this intimate, solo acoustic evening are $75, $125 and $200 reserved seats (depending on location) and all proceeds will benefit both organizations. [Please note: a portion of the $200 and $125 tickets are tax deductible as a donation to both foundations.]
Jewel founded Project Clean Water in 1997. Having experienced homelessness as a teenager, Jewel became ill and couldn't afford to buy the bottled water she needed for her sick kidneys. She then realized it was difficult to obtain clean water in the United States and discovered it was a huge problem globally. She has been relentless in her efforts to bring safe water to those in need and create awareness of clean water shortages around the world.
