Ski Patrol & Trail Safety

Trail Safety

Do you have a passion for the mountains? Do you like to engage with others with the same passion? Is personal safety and the safety of others a primary concern of yours?

If you answered yes to these questions the Telluride Trail Safety Team may be the job for you! We are currently accepting applications for the 2017-18 winter ski season. All candidates must ski or snowboard at an upper intermediate level, enjoy interacting with our guests and love to be outdoors.

Ski Patrol

The Telluride Ski Patrol has been helping the guests of Telluride Ski Resort have a great time in the mountains since 1972. We are a dedicated group of individuals with a passion for the mountains, a commitment to safety and a yearning for adventure. If you are a team player who loves to learn, help others and share great experiences in what may be the greatest occupation on earth, you may be who we are looking for.

All candidates must hold a current Outdoor Emergency Care or EMT-B certification, possess a high level of physical fitness and ski at an expert level (sorry no snowboarders). Experience in high angle rescue and avalanche mitigation is a plus.
